Howard Elementary students earned 5,009 total positive office referral tickets since the school year started, which has only been a month. Principal Jessica Schroeder said that’s a new record – one she’d like to see the students continue to top.

From building houses with mega blocks, or a classic game of tug-o-war outside, lots of fun was had over the summer! In June, Starr Elementary hosted the annual "Power Camp," a weekly program geared towards 2nd - 5th Grade students who attend a Title I building at Grand Island Public Schools. This year, more than 150 students consistently attended the camp.
